The Patient Tracking system is now “live” on WI Trac. The system is being tested and piloted. It is expected that education for hospitals and EMS will begin in September. Because there is the potential that there will be a national push to use SALT as the national triage system (SALT uses grey as triage color), it is presently being suggested that the Patient Tracking wristband be white with black strips instead of grey.
RTAC is asking that each RTAC contribute $200 to develop a trauma list serve, so that Trauma Coordinators can post questions, messages, and share documents with each other. The $200 would be the initial cost, and the yearly maintenance would cost each RTAC $30 per year.
